FullForms browser extension

Look up and capture terms on any page, without leaving the tab. Available for Chrome, Firefox, and Edge.

What it does

  • Search from anywhere: type fullforms in the address bar followed by a term, or open the side panel and search across every list you can access.
  • Right-click lookup: select text on any page and look it up, or add it to a list, straight from the context menu.
  • Quick add: capture a new term into your default list from the side panel or with a keyboard shortcut, while the page that taught it to you is still open.
  • Offline search: the extension keeps a local snapshot of your lists, so lookups keep working without a connection.
  • Glossary detection: when a site publishes a FullForms glossary link, the side panel surfaces that glossary for the page you're on.

Install it

Pick your browser's store:

  1. Click the FullForms icon in your browser's toolbar.
  2. Choose Sign in. A FullForms page opens asking you to authorize the extension for your account.
  3. Approve it. The extension is now connected and your lists sync down for search.

Sign-in is per device. The access token stays in your browser's local storage and is never synced to other machines.

Tips

  • Address bar: type fullforms, press Tab or Space, then type your term. Results appear as you type.
  • Keyboard shortcuts: Cmd/Ctrl+Shift+K opens the side panel with your current selection as the query, and Cmd/Ctrl+Shift+Y starts adding the selection as a new entry.
  • Options page: set your default list for quick add, refresh the offline cache, and override the theme.

Privacy & permissions

  • The extension reads only the lists your FullForms account can already access. Signing out removes the token and every cached list from the browser.
  • Page content is not collected or sent anywhere. Selected text is used only when you explicitly search or add it.
  • You can revoke the extension's access at any time from Account settings → API tokens on the web app.
