FullForms for Raycast

Search your glossaries and capture new terms from your desktop, without opening a browser tab.

What it does

Three commands, all a hotkey away:

  • Search Entries: search every workspace at once or narrow to one. Results group by list, show tags, your private notes, and starred state, and open a detail pane with the full definition (Cmd+I toggles it). Act on a result without leaving Raycast: star it (Cmd+S), edit it in place (Cmd+E, on lists you can edit), add or update a private note (Cmd+Shift+N), report it to the list owner (Cmd+Shift+R), or jump to it on the web. And when a search comes up empty, an Add Entry action opens Quick Add pre-filled with your search term.
  • Quick Add Entry: add a term to any list you can edit, with type-aware placeholders, a comma-separated tags field (existing tag names are reused, new ones are created), and a live warning when the entry or definition already exists on the list. If your Raycast account has AI access, Generate Definition (Cmd+G) and Generate Description (Cmd+Shift+G) draft those fields for you.
  • Suggest Entry: send a suggestion to a list that accepts them, for the owner to review.

Install it

  1. Get List by FullForms from the Raycast store (Raycast is a launcher for macOS and Windows; the extension installs in one click from inside Raycast too, via the Store command).

Connect your account

The extension authenticates with a personal access token:

  1. On the web app, open Account settings and generate a token under API tokens. The token is shown once, so copy it right away.
  2. Run any FullForms command in Raycast. The extension asks for the token on first run; paste it into the preference field.

Tokens are per device and revocable: you can revoke one at any time from the same Account settings page, and the extension stops working immediately without touching your password.

Privacy & permissions

  • The extension sees only the lists your FullForms account can already access, enforced server-side per request.
  • Writes respect your role: Quick Add and Edit work only on lists where you're an editor or above, Suggest only where suggestions are enabled, and Report only where the list owner has reports turned on. Notes are private to you.
  • The token is stored in Raycast's local preferences on your device and is never synced.
